Got this guy 3 days ago, First night it moved under a rock and hid there all night and the next day. when I went to bed he was still hiding. Woke up and could not find him anywhere. I freaked he was 5 to 6 inches and just gone. But my water was clear so I knew he wasn't chopped up.

Got home to find him still low but now poking out of two different holes, too funny. Maybe he'll like both sides and split. :D

Is this a yellow tip rose or something else?

hmmm how come my rbta have long tentacles but urs have more like a bubble look?
I've read that they can change over time and even that as they get happy and healthy might loose the bubbles. But no one really knows for sure.

That's a cool color variation. Do you have any pictures of him w/o flash?
Thanks, that was with a P&S, I'll try with the DSLR on a tripod tonight.

lovin the nem, where did you get from
Thanks!. I got him in a LFS around Chicago. I've been looking for a few weeks he looked really healthy so I got it. He was just listed as color tip BTA.
