New BTA Splitting? Pics

I got a really beautiful bubble tip anemone last week and hes been moving around a bit but for the last few days hes stayed put... but I think hes starting to split.

There is a notch in his foot and in the top part of him, and a neon green line going from the notch on bottom to on top

I have been feeding him almost every day (which now I know prob was too much) I was trying to get my clowns to host him so i was spraying food towards him.

Water params are perfect, and lighting is perfect. Flow... who knows the anemone chooses... and I think hes happy where he is...

Do you think stress and maybe overfeeding caused him to split?

Hes not split yet but I think he is doing it...

is this a good thing? I'm ok with it as long as hes not splitting because hes not happy (which Ive read they do?)

He took all my food happily, and hasnt moved in days. I am just worried about him. I want him to be happy and healthy. Hes like my favorite creature in there.

I picked up a red BTW around a year ago. He marched around the tank for a few days then parked right where I didn't want him to be. I have since moved the rock he was on and he has stayed put. Any way shortly after finding a spot he split and they have been a happy couple every since.

It's a survival mechanism. After a move or serious incident most BTA may split. Not all but most. It's they Nems way of propagation to save itself.

So he's prob ok? Just he has no idea he is being taken care of so he's scared and he's splitting? Thank you nathan fir the picture..I was also worried since now there may be two of them that automatically they would move away from racecourse and id have two loose cannons in the tank lol but it's nice to know it's possible that may stay together

Just had a rainbow split that was only 3" wide after shipped from florida 2 weeks prior whole process was about 20 mins amazing
