New bubble tip, Quick question

Krazy

In Memoriam
I bought a good size bubble tip today and he was in the corner this am when I put him into the tank, I just got back in home and he's found his way into a crack/cave I have, he's in the back and I can hardly see him... Is this ok? Is it stressed or something? am I over-reacting?

on a 2nd note, do you think my new cinni clown will host him ?

:)

Keith,
I'm sure he's fine. He's probably finding a comfortable location. They like to keep their foot hidden, so he might roam around a bit until he settles in. If you find that he KEEPS walking around and never settles in, then it could ultimately mean the end for him.

Unfortunately, they don't keep our thoughts and feelings in mind when finding a location. So he might pick a spot in the back where you can't see him. My RBTA did this for two months, until he worked his way towards the front of my tank. Then I was able to coax him to another rock where he's stayed put ever since.

As for the clown, I would like to say he will host eventually. But this could take a day.....it could take a year. My true perc didn't even look at my anemone for 2 months. Now you can't get him out!

Thanks for the reply Ken !

He's slowly coming out of the crack, the clown found him on the other side of the tank already and is trying to host him but the clown cant fit in the crack, lol, the clown is trying and trying rubbing what he can on the GBTA !!!

I LOVE IT !!!
