New Bubble Tip won't hold food

Brought it home a week ago almost after the lfs had it for at least 2-3 and it is not holding onto the peice of shrimp I put into it's tentacles. It will for a few minutes but then just lets it fall.

It is under a metal halide in a tank that has been set up for 3 years and no fish.

It is looking ok but this is worriesome as I think about it wasting away to nothing.

Its probably still settling...leave it a couple of days before trying again, it should come around and start feeding soon

Put it more in the center of its mouth after soaking in selcon. Dont force in the mouth . Maybe a little garlic might boost the appetite some.

given good light--target feeding is not an absolute requirement.

Yeah You may not need to target feed, but i would bet after a couple more days in the tank it will take food. Adding garlic or selcon will help too.
