New Build: 90gal Room Divider

Haven't decided on the aquascape yet. I was kinda going for a staircase pattern, but a few rocks went arye... :sad2:

Love the stand build! Wish I had the equipment/talent to do that.

Sadly after about a year I have to take my system down. Until I can rebuild I'll have to live vicariously through the rest of you and get lots of ideas. :)

Sorry! Has been a little while... Not much to show during the cycle. But things are starting to move now. Even have some inhabitants as of yesterday. A small CUC and 3 Blue.Green Chromis. Got everthing organized in my cabinet so far and added a phosban 150 and an auto-top off

Just an update: Got everthing from my 55 moved over yesterday and took a few full DT shots just from my camera phone...

Beautiful tank. I like the color of the lighting. The LEDS make a huge difference. I wanted to do the same thing to divide my dinning room and living room. However, I'd probably waste away to nothing because I'd watch the tank instead of eating every meal!

Just another update. Things are looking pretty good. Added a Red Faced Wrasse and a couple frags (orange zoas and green hammer)

Looking really nice. I think it's time for you to update your sig. How about:
"Badass room divider with fish and coral"

What is that on the rock just above the flame angel, it's purple with bright green tips? Your whole setup looks great, I really like your stand build as well!

Haha, Thanks!

Bones, that's a frogspawn (LPS) it's got one head that has pinkish/purple tips and the rest have bright green tips. One of my favorite pieces that I've collected so far!

LPS's are awesome, i have a very similar setup with frogspawn, hammer coral and kenya tree. i do have question though, how is your flow are you seeing any "dead" spots or are you cleaning the sand often? i dont see alot of debris and have an issue with my setup and really like yours.

also any concerns about the eggcrate and the inverts getting caught?

Been a while again, sorry...

Been a while again, sorry...

Have just been enjoying having everthing up and running for a while now. My wife and I have had to rewind the tivo several times recently because we will get mezmorized for long periods of time with the tank... :hmm3:

We got a few new friends and I also added a UV Sterilizer (Coralife 6x Turbotwist 36 watt) that I have been amazed with. Well worth it!

Here a a few new shots...

Got a small Clam and a Green Hammer frag

Sorry, I must have missed this post a little while back. I did have a small problem with a dead spot in the far opposite corner from my two koralias, but I had an extra seio powerhead laying around so I hung in on my overflow and directed it that way. Another thing I did was extend my return outlets to the other side of the tank with some extra pvc. It really helps with a little push back against the wave makers. and no problems with the eggcrate at all.
