Just got a good deal on these fish store tanks and want to install all 5 30 gal. tanks to a 30 gal. sump. Most h2o that we have in one place and need your ideas on best way to cycle and plumb all these tanks together. Plumbing should be easy due to the fact they are all drilled and bulk heads in place. Sump will have to reside outside the rack as we only have space for the individual tanks. 3 of the 5 tanks are subdivided into 10 gal. tanks and the 2 tanks not visible in the photos are 30 gal. single tanks.Plan on purchasing a ASM G1X skimmer but unsure on the lighting as some of the tanks will be fish only. Help us do proud with these tanks.

I think the easiest way to go would be to run your returns to the top row of tanks and then standpipe each lower tank into each other so that they drain into the next lower tank. I did this for a friend of mine's store he has and it's been working fine for over 2 years. the other option is to run a main drain across the back of the tank (3" or 4" drain line) with each tank draining into it and have the same done for the return lines with ball or gate valves at each tank to control the flow. this is what I did for his second store. a much better option in my opinion. I'm assuming your going to breed fish in this setup?

Thanks tommer725 and reeftanknewbie. I guess that I won't need special lighting other than flouresent (sp) since they will be used for breeding.
