I have an oddyssea dual 250w double mh/ 4 54w t5ho that has the original bulbs in it. They come with 10k 250w mh and 4 actinic t5. I would like to replace the t5 bulbs. Any suggestions? I have some sps, lps, and softies. Would like best combo for growth and color. I have also read that the ballasts that come with this fixture don't burn the high end mh bulbs at the right spectrum. Isthis correct? What mh bulbs should I get?

I don't know about the metal halide bulb, but I use 4 ATI HO T5's and couldn't be happier. Front to back I run:
Blue+
Purple+
Coral+
Blue+
I find the Purple+ to be a little weak and it seems to add more white to the overall look. I will probably replace it with another Blue+ when the time comes.
I also don't know if the ballasts burn these at the right spectrum, but I see no problems and my tank's inhabitants are thriving.
