New C-SEA program director needed

Peter Chefalo, our program director for the last several years, is stepping down due to an increasingly busy personal and professinal schedule. We are now taking nominations for this position, with a new election to be held at the September meeting. Peter has indicated that he will be available to assist the new board member.

Duties of the program director are as follows:

The Program Director shall:
Develop and recommend to the Board ideas for C-SEA membership meetings.
Develop contacts in the marine aquarium hobby, and hence develop a list of potential speakers for C-SEA events.
Make arrangements for the smooth running of C-SEA meetings and programs include reserving monthly meeting place, booking and accommodations for guest speaker.

This can be one of the best club offices to have. You get to meet and talk to speakers. It can be very interesting and with the internet, you don't spend as much money on long distance phone calls and postage as when I did this years ago.
