New Camera

I finally picked up a decent camera so I can finally take a decent photo ( after I figure out all the settings at least ) I'm using a Sony Cybershot DSC-WX50. The only thing I haven't figured out really is how to manually focus ( if I even can with this camera) so I can only get things in the foreground in focus. Here is a few pics. I know some of you have a lot more experience with point and shoot cameras so maybe you guys can give me the pro tips for getting better pictures, but they are at least a huge step up from my phone camera haha.

Thanks! He's the king of the tank for sure haha.

My cell phone is on its way out finally so the lens is all scratched and blurs every shot I take with it. So it's nice having a good camera for once. I just need to play with the settings to get it to allow me to take photos of things further back in the tank.

That's a pretty fish. I tried taking pictures of my O clowns with my wife's DSLR and they move so much that its impossible. Did you use a specific setting or something?

I went through a lot of settings so far but my cybershot is just a point and shoot. For that picture I let the "auto-choose my settings" option haha. My clown likes to patiently wait for food when I'm near the tank so I took advantage of his semi-stillness to play with the camera.
