Now you are looking like a photographer! Your DOF is much better than the last set you posted. The right lens for the job!
In the top photo, you were a fuzz out of focus on the whole, but the other three look good. Second photo, probably 1/3-1/2 stop over exposed as demonstrated by the blown out white areas.
A good guidle line is shoot digital 1/3-1/2 under exposed in a RAW/NEF file format with the camera and then you can tweak the shadows, color balance, and exposure in your editing software. If you shoot jpeg files, you will not have the +/- 2 stop flexibility that the NEF file will give you. Always shoot RAW/NEF.
