Just showing off my new addition. Any advise on carnations is welcome. I have an existing finger leather but was surprised that the polyps are much more ridged on the carnation. It's about 7" tall but was bent when I got it so I figured to let it sit and see what it does:dance:

My mistake,I'm spot feeding phyto, cyclopeze and copepods along with my suns will that suffice? "Mount upside down"? I know suns are found on cave ceilings are these the same scenerio?

Yes, mount it upside down under a overhang. These corals are found upside down in caves in the wild. You will need to feed it a few times a day, these are not easy corals, unless you have a dedicated system

its a dendronephtya.. very difficult to keep for several months or longer... needs less light but lot of plancton... in nature its a deepsea coral hanging down in caves.
