I clicked on the link, but it only describes the T5 ballasts. Which ballasts do they ship for the halides? Is it the M80 ballasts (looks like a square black box) or the electronic ballasts?

I would go directly to their site and check the specs so I don't state something incorrectly. I believe they are magnetic

The description states magnetic but not whether they are M80 or M58 type. I'm guessing M58 unless the other was specifically requested.
Tweaked should know since he has the same light and whether the M80 ballast were standard or not.

On Hamilton's website they say you can't run Radiums on the M58 ballast which is kind of confusing. Electronic ballasts aren't the proper ballast to run Radiums, but it still works (just looks more blue) and many people run them this way. So I'm wondering if the M58 works, just not to spec. I'm curious because if I were to buy this fixture, 20k Radiums is what I would run.

Yep, I run this fixture with radiums- looove it!!

You need to switch to m80 ballasts or the likes as the radiums need a special pulse start ballast, and the m80 hqi ballast runs them perfectly as they were designed to be. Drives them at a higher wattage than 250 as well for longer bulb life.
