Well my days of LEDs are over... Just put up my new ATI Sunpower unit and I am in love with the color and the pop of my corals.
X2 blue plus, coral plus, purple plus

Congrats man. I made the switch as well about month and a half ago and loving the results.

Are you liking the color the purple plus is putting off with the 4 bulb unit?

Honestly, I just picked this combo based off of recommendations I've seen here on the forum so I didn't know what any of the combos look like. But, I am very happy with the combination I chose. When the purple plus and coral plus are on by themselves its kinda ugly though.

Just curious what others that ran this combo thought about it. I had it running on my frag tank for a while, but had a little different front to back as I had blue plus and purple plus as the blues.

I had an extra coral plus laying around and liked the 2-2 look better. It was just to reddish for my taste, but everyone has a different eye.

I however like having one in a 6 bulb over my display.

Congrats again on the new fixture, I'm sure the results will be great.

Why would u ever run just the coral and purple bulbs alone? Remember corals don't need much of the red spectrum and the coral plus bulbs already have red spectrum in them. So that's a lot of red. As mentioned if u like the look and the corals do well that's all that matters.

I don't run those two alone, I was curious what they looked like alone when I was messing around with it. But blues come on, then coral +/purple +, coral +/purple + Turn off at 7, blues off at 10.

I also had a 4 bulb fixture, and ran 2 BP, CP, and PP. then I swapped the purple for a aqua blue special and I just loved the look of the tank with that. I still have my t5 in case I want to switch back. But I'm liking the LEDs right now. I'd like to do a hybrid led with t5 though. Btw your tank in the pictures looks awesome! What camera are you using, it's so hard to find a camera that doesn't pickup all the blues. Lol

Most camera will take pic under t5 pretty well. The LED are what make it hard.

I use the iPhone 6 as well and under t5 it still looked very blue. Now led I have to have the whites up and blues almost off lol
