new clam host?

my clown goby has desided to host in my clam, i just bought the clam a few days ago and now the goby is sleeping in it. will this harm the clam?

mine rests on top of the clam... is yours INSIDE the clam?

if it irritates the clam to the point that it wont open any more then it will kill the clam,but i have seen clown fish in clams an the clam has gotin used to it and it was just fine

yea u'd be amazed at the stuff that host in clams, I'v seen little shrimp call it their home. I think your clam will be ok, but keep an eye on it.

well it seemed more closed last night then it has been when the goby was in it, but when the fish left this am seemed to open right back up. so i will keep an eye on it thanks for the info

when i looked at my clam today it seem not as open as it has been in the last few days, the goby is still hosting in the clam at night. what do you is going on with the clam is the goby bothering it? should i get rid of the fish?

try moving the clam to the other side of the tank sometimes that will work
