New clam Id please

I hope I did not make too big of a mistake buying this clam. I sorta felt as if I rescued it. When I asked the Woman if it was maybee a Maxima or a Crocea she said What do I look like a scienist? Anyways it was reactive and was not gaping the foot looked ok but it was hard to see the color at the time because it was under NO lights,

Thanks-Does its color look ok or is that concidered bleaching?

Looks like its nice and healthy,I have the same colored one but mine opens up more under my halides

prodman, Any chance you bought these in San Bruno?

I bought mine under NO lights as well but they quickly recovered from a pale blue to this in no time.

I got it in concord. My clam is fully extened and darkened up alot adout 6" under my VHO's. I will post another pic soon
