new clam not opening up very much?

Hi just bought t. derasa clam yesterday was opening up about half way in the bag when acclimating it , never rush when acclimating any of my live stock have two other clams which are doing really good have plenty of light 400 watt MH should I worry, when I first put it in it opened about half way and this morning it almost closed completely?

it may just need some time to adjust to your lighting. can you put something between the light and the clam to shade it? like screening or something?

IMO, give it a few days to get acclimated to everything in your tank: lights, flow, etc... Just keep an eye on it for now.
