new clam pics

i just got 2 more clams today from liveaquaria and i couldnt believe how well they bagged these things, had to be 15 bags around each one and heat packs.Anyway i got a aquacultured squamosa clam and an ultra blue maxima from the divers den

if you look on the back right there is aptasia on the clam, im going to leave it alone because i feel i would damage the clam trying to kill the aptasia

The aptasia will prevent your clam from opening up all the way.

You can gently remove the Aptasia from under the mantle. Just get the clam to close up and you can either scrape it off or inject it with a product like aptaisia x.

I do this with Majano's on my squamosa all the time.
