Hello everyone, yesterday I added a clown fish to my tank. Its a percula clown, and its in a 20 gallon tank. The tank is up and cycled, and all the parameters are where they should be.
I do have a question however. Last night when I added my clown fish, he was very active, swimming on the back and left side of the tank, avoiding the front and right side of the tank. Now this morning he is far less active, and he is vertically sitting on the over flow box. But he swims very slowly vertically and he will come out of it to swim horizontally as hes turning around to go back into the vertical position. I know there is a disease fish can get where they are paralyzed and stay in the vertical position and theres nothing they can do about it, but when I moved my magnet that he stays near, he julted to the other side of the tank really fast. There is only one of them in the tank. If everything is ok I will add another in a few days as I monitor parameters.
I guess my question here is, is this normal? Its a 20 gallon tank, and hes been in since last night.
Thanks.
