so today for my birthday i want to the LFS to get a few things and couldn't help but get a baby false perc to go with my other false perc that finally hosted this summer after 9 months. i went ahead and did all of the steps to aclimate the little guy to the tank and put him in. he went right away to the other clown who was in my RBTA and started to "Play" with him. but he soon got stung a few times from the RBTA and has not been as interested with the other clown and not interested in eating at all.
what can i do to make his transition a little smoother, I turned down the flow a lot. should i also turnt he lights off for the night. any suggestions would be most welcome.

thanks debi. I'm not going to do anything drastic, but i am a little upset at how skinny it is since all my fish are fatties.

It's the first day, don't sweat it. He has to get acclimated to the anemone which is totally normal.

Be sure to feed alot. You want to make sure that the other fish don't eat up all the food before he gets some. The dominant fish will stay larger than the new one forever. Eventually the one you've had for 9 months will start to really grow and will become a female. The new fish will become a male in about 6 months. Clowns are best fed atleast 3 times a day and preferably 3 -5 times.
