Hehehe...hiding in the bathroom so that the clown doesn't see you...who says that you aren't controlled by your pets?!?!

Sounds like a happy clown. Your clown should not feel shy about eating in front of people. I have tangs that won't come out until I back up a step or two, but my clowns sit at the top of the water waiting for the first pellet to hit...God forbid they miss that first pellet of food!! Meaty foods like mysis or any finely grated grocery store foods(squid, oysters, etc.) will many times help a picky clown start eating again. Add selcon and he shouldn't be able to pass it up.

Agreed! My clowns had no time for flake or pellet when i first bought them, so i went to the grocery store and purchase some tillapia, shrimp, scallop and blended it (my wife really liked her blender being used for this) up w/ some fish roe and kent MarineZoe suppliment.

I froze this in a ziplock bag and pull it out and cut off thin slices of it that I defrost in RO/DI water.

The clowns love it. I roll it in dried cyclopeeze every once in a while too... :)

good luck,

Matt

Well, I got the Spectrum pellets which the LFS was feeding, and he ate a few. So I guess that crisis has been averted! So I just wonder if he ate any of the flakes at all?!?!?
I also got some mysis shrimp too. I will give him some of that tomorrow. I just want to make sure he eats. I am also going to order some selcon and maybe some garlic. I know I love garlic with my dinner!!!!!!
Thanks again for all of the help.

If anyone has any other suggestions for making my clown happy, I would love to hear them!!!
