New Clownfish spots

I've mentioned this in a different thread, but finally managed to get some decent shots of him this morning. His cheek used to have a white-head looking bump on it that has since....deflated? There's some smaller bumps clustered in it's place but it doesn't look like a pimple anymore.. His tail has some "stuff" on it too that seems to have gotten slightly larger, and a couple white flecks are sitting right on the tops and edges of a few other fins.. He came with the tail stuff and cheek bump.. I thought it may be ich, and saw him scratch his face a couple times but now it doesn't look like ich to me....

He eats fine, swims fine, seems totally fine outside the white stuff. I've had him for a week and a half now, and he's the 1st and only fish in my tank.
Ideas??

I'm in no way an expert on this, but to me it seems to be brooklynella. Do a search for images for this and compare to your fish. If it is, it kills rather quickly. Maybe someone with more knowledge than me can chime in on this.

Are there any anemones or corals in the tank he may be trying to use as a host? If so, and it's not his natural host, he could end up with a few spots like that while he acclimates to it.

It's also common for fish to get torn fins, and missing scales during shipping and handling. These areas often break out with a fungal infections that look just like that. If the fish is otherwise healthy, fed well, and in a clean environment, they typically get over this on their own.

Personally, I'd just keep a close eye on the fish. It will probably go away on its own. If it looks like its getting worse, or if you just want to medicate the fish, there are several products that treat fungus. It would probably be easiest, and fastest, to call your LFS and see what they have in stock.

I was worried about it being Brook, but after tons of googling comparisons, I do not believe that's it... This has been on-going for the last week, so by no means as quick as Brooklynella would kill him i'd think... and his skin isn't all sloughed or peeling, his color is still vibrant and eats like a horse.

No, no anemones or corals for him in there. I got him on Memorial Day and he had the tail fin "dust" and spot on his cheek then. The rest is additional.
Could it be lymphocystis?? Googling fish diseases all day and night and this seems much like his. Kinda fuzzy on the tail fin, his cheek has a small cluster of raised white/translucent bumps that used to be 1 larger white head. 1 more bump along the top of his head just past the 1st band, and a couple other spots on various fins...
He's had added stress the last 2 days: lost a cleaner shrimp yesterday due to a dead turbo I found today and/or the ich attack i used for 3 days dosing the fish (see newb thread)

I would worm this (and all fish) with Prazi-Pro; its a very safe med. The tail stuff could be some type of fluke. It is probably not lympho, which has the texture of cauliflower or cottage cheese. I wouldn't rule out eary-stage brooklynella. Has that white pimple in the earlier photo changed at all? I would toss the 'Ich Attack". It is not an effective product. Any product that claims to be "reef-safe" is worthless. There is no reef-safe cure for most protozoan parasites, like ich, velvet, or brook.

BTW, I noticed that you posted this at about 4:00 yesterday and were complaining about not getting help less than an hour later. Our forum is not made up of thousands or operators waiting for your call. Lots of folks will look at your question and not feel that they can contribute much. Have some patience.

The bumps and fins all look the same again today. Only behavioral change is the fish seems to try to rest against the rock and mouth breath briefly, then snap out of it and acts normal again. Check all levels again today and they are all back to the usual, ammonia back to 0 after yesterday's large water change. I quit using the Ich attack and plan to take that stuff back...

Thanks, I will look for the Prazi-Pro! And no need for the internet attitude: I'm not new to a forum world or sarcasm. What I did do is forget what time zone this is probably most popular in. Being in Hawaii I set times to me and forget about it. Plus this place is high-traffic so I was just hopeful for some quicker help because I was/am worried for my little fishie!! Regardless, I appreciate the tips!
