Bought a new clown fish ..not eating and just swimming back and forth in front of the aquairum.over and over. seems to ignore food. is this normal for a new fish
Just give them time. It takes some fish longer to become adjusted to your aquarium. I have had fish that eat right away and a couple that have taken a week to eat. It all depends. Try cyclopeeze and other food soaked in garlic or selcon to induce feeding possibly. Make sure all params are in check and water quality is great.
