Yesterday picked up 2 Snowflake Extreme clownfish from my LFS, they won't eat flakes, pellets or brine shrimp. They also just swim along the glass. I don't know what to do. The tank is a 40g, i have 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, and 0 Nitrate, my Ph is 8.0, my salinity is 1.025 and my alk is 10 and my phosphate is around 0.15(i know high). The tank has been up for 5 weeks. Any advice is welcomed!

Sometimes fish just take a few days to adjust. My Potter’s didn’t eat for about 6 weeks, now she attacks anything in the tank.

Stop stressing. Number one rule in reef keeping is patience. The fish are new, they're not used to your tank, they're still stressed and the swimming against the glass shows that. They'll eat. Believe me. Stop stressing, get some Mysis, thaw one block in a little bit of tank water and add Sachem Garlic Guard. Suck it up into a syringe and then turn all the pumps off and squirt a little bit in the tank and see if they go for it. If they do not go for it put the syringe in the fridge and try it a couple hours later again. Do not use flakes or anything yet. Get them used to Mysis first. My goby was finicky at first but I kept feeding until he went for it.

I feed mostly my sis and my clowns, and everything else eats it just fine. I do pellets and flakes once in a while and all of the fish eat them. If they ate at the fish store they will eat for eventually. My leopard wrasse ate fine at the fish store. When I got it home it disappeared for 3 weeks and I thought it died. One day it came out and was out for months and then disappeared for week. Ever since then it has bent out and fine.

Typical wrasse. Lol

Remember rule number one.
Don't buy what doesn't eat.
Give them a couple if days to get adjusted to their new home.
If they are eating and spitting, that's a texture issue.
