The big one is the female. The little one (male) will look like its seizing every once in a while. This is the fish submitting to its female. No worries. Dont worry until you see agressive bitting or fins being nipped.

Clowns are weird fish, they may do weird behaviors. Just watch them and if it seems like they are gasping for air or diseased then its a problem. For example, my clowns sleep ontop of eachother in the sand and take a few minutes to wake up when the lights go on. My dads clown fish swim vertically all the time and sleep vertically. My female clown loves to swim sideways everywhere.

Ok cool. Yea I did some research on them but I was just curious on what actual owners had to say like yourself. I've been watching them since I got them and they are real cool to watch lol. Been going back and fourth swimming and kinda like dancing and all. Anything specific u feed your clowns and do they eat algae sheets like tangs do. My freshwater cichlids I have eat the algae sheets I hang in the tank.

Also where in the tank do they usually swim at. Mine has been all over from the bottom to the top and now they have both just swimming at the top.

They will find a home somewhere in the tank. It takes a little while for them to figure the tank out. If you dont like where they settle then just move a powerhead and they will find a new home. Ive heard on here that they love terra cotta pots if you put a small one in the tank they will host there and that will be their home.

I feed mine pellets and frozen food on a rotation. They are not going to eat algae sheets. They may try to eat your hands while cleaning the tank though!

Yes, they can become real jerks when they get bigger, real PITA.
Biting you when you stick your hand in the tank, sleeping in your prized coral and damaging it, bullying other fish when they lay eggs...

My clowns are in their final week of QT. Things I have noticed them do was the yo-yo behavior while at a stand still. They bob their heads up and down. It's funny looking.

They lay on their sides when sleeping........like davehead86 mentioned....mine dont sleep on top of each other but they do lie on their sides.

I feed them pellet food as well as LRS Fish Frenzy frozen food.
