New Coral

I just purchased a carnation tree coral a few days ago. It is pink and orange, pretty awesome looking. I was unaware of the difficulty of care they require, but I am determined to care for it properly and cater to its feeding and water chemistry needs. I have a picture of it. However, sometimes it leans sideways then props back up a few minutes later. Im unsure why this is happening, it moves several times a day. Anyone have any thoughts? I attached a picture of the coral below.
Thanks

Andrew C.

It can take a while for them to settle in. Have you checked your water parameters, specifically Kh,nitrates and phosphates? These corals are Extremely sensitive to all three and something that can be even more stressful on them in a new environment. I would suggest checking those immediately, as if they are out of line, you'll want to address that asap. Good luck with your new coral, (one is definitely in the future for me) and post those parameters so we can rule that out or make a plan to correct it
