where is this located in SF? Also who has the best SPS and zoos in SF?

Best SPS & zoos.. well it depends upon any given shipment, but sps I'd say Ocean Treasures on Dubose st, zoos, either Ocean Treasures or Aquatics Central, I don't go to OT that often but I seem to recall more stony corals there.. but then again that's because those catch my eyes more so than zoanthids.

Aquatic Central is on Ocean avenue, yp.yahoo.com should yield a result.

Prices? Lets see, I've seen prices go from $40-100+ but they aren't for 1" frags. I wouldn't expect an uber good deal on something, or expect to see any "LE" type corals, but if you don't mind that then you should be happy.

The people at Aguatic central are great. they get in some decent corals but there arent too many super fancy things there. I did see a Red Yuma and a couple of Duncan's there last week though.

Hey on the BAR post it says that you get 10% off as a BAR member, I never got any 10% deals.... and I've been buying from them for a minute now... but they've been really cool to me especially the taller dude. I've rank them higher in customer service than Ocean Treasures... I've been there 3 times and all 3 it took forever for someone to help me or ask for help, even if I was the only customer in the store.....

i've gotten the same treatment at OT, not only is it a pain to get to. but i was the only customer in there and didnt get a single hello or nod for entire time i was in there. sucks too, they have a nice looking store.

I've had the same treatment the one time I was in there. I think they might have a policy to let customers browse without bothering them because when I asked for help, they were very friendly and helpful. I dont mind being left alone to shop, but I think they should at least offer a greeting.

No greeting last couple of times I went there, basically had to stand right beside a work while I was looking at fish to get acknowledged and from there they were ok.. short answers and greetings... never went back since then. I actually got better treatment from both Aquatic Central and Fish Fish and More Fish.
