New corals bleaching

Recently put some new corals in my tank. That finished cycle a week ago or so. And I did a 35% water change after cycle.

I put a mushroom, trumpet and a torch in.
They were closed up on Monday, but come Tuesday they all opened up.

I come home on my lunch break today and all 3 of them are still open but they look faded. Like they're losing color.

Is this from too much light, not enough or something else?
No ammonia or nitrites in the tank and nitrates are low.

What type of light are you using? If LED, at what intensity?

It's an AI Hydra running at 14k @ 25-30%
They used to be under a 250W Radium

My alk is 6.72dKH. Should I mix up another water change to try and raise the alk?

Oh and my Mushroom looks weird. kind of like its all puffy

Here are proper parameters for those coeals, in my sig line: raise mg. then raise alk, then cal. Do not dose alk and cal within 8 hours of each other. Snowstorm and you lose both.

Alright, I turned the lights a bit for now. Going to get a Mag/Ca+ test kit tonight and check those values. My alk is on the very low end, but need to check the Mag levels first.

Just use baking soda for raising the Alk? Baked in the oven first for about an hour though? And use THIS calculator?

If your pH is 8.2 or less bake the soda at 350 for an hour, if the pH is 8.3 or more skip the baking. Don't raise the alkalinity more than 1.2 dKh per day, and not more than 0.5 dKh per dose. It is best to drip the alkalinity solution slowly into a high flow area of your sump or tank

Well, the new test kit came in I tested my mg and Calcium.
Salinity was 1.025
Magnesium was 1300
Calcium was about 410-415
and Retested Alk after water changes and got it to 7.7.
Phos was 0.02


But I found a bigger problem. Apparently when I added the corals and my CUC along with a little bit of targeted coral feeding I started a mini-cycle since I guess the current bacteria I had in the tank couldn't deal with the increased bio-load.

Ammonia spiked to 0.9
Nitrites were up at 0.5
and Nitrates are 50+.

Since yesterday when I tested it I did 2x 10g water changes (one yesterday, one today) and going to do 1 tomorrow probably. The ammonia and nitrites are almost gone, but the nitrate did not move with the water changes.

My chaeto finally showed up yesterday afternoon also which is in the tank now. So hopefully that will help my battle. Not sure what else to do other than WC.. And I'm also not sure how my Nitrates got SO high.

Using RO/DI water measuring 0 TDS, and Reef Crystals.
