New Crocea clam question.

I recently got a crocea clam..
I have a 90 gal display tank, with 440 watts of VHO, 168 watts of PC, and 108 watts of T5, i have the clam sitting on the sand bed to get aclimated to my tank, since he was under 64 watts of PC when i got him...

Do you think the current 716 watts of light will be enough if i put him higher up on my LR, or do you think i should dich the 2X96w PC, and go with 2X175w MH, wich will give me 848 watts of light on a 90gal...

Personally for a Crocea, if you can I would get the dual 175's ( and honestly for the slight price difference go ahead and get 250's ). It will be better for the clams general health.

My Crocea is 5" under the water surface and about 15" total distance directly under a SE 250 10'K and is starting to show very good growth.

I already have 2 175w MH sitting around and a pair of 6500k bulbs... will these work or should i go for some 10k's?

Arg, now i have to build a hood! all over some damn clam that i just couldnt resist... what is the best spectrum of light for them, as far as growth and aperence.

My Clams did good under 20K

But! Now that I am back to 10K I have seen a dramatic improvment in growth in a very short time.
