New Crocea clam

Picked up a new Crocea clam today from the lfs. It is a very pretty crocea in my opinion. I first acclimated it to my lighting and the temperature of my tank first. Then after about 25 minutes I gave it a 5 minute freshwater dip just in case it had PM or some sort of nuissance. I put it in my tank and so far so good.

Here are some pictures of it:

Tell me what you guys think

which store did you get it from? I've been up and down orlando and none of them seem to have many except for exotic aquariums and they are on the pricey side of things.

aquarium finatics I got it from. Great guy that works there.

Freshwater dips are safe in certain amounts of time. It is a risk when you FWD with small clams though.

looks good! i just bought my first crocea yesterday...unfortunately, my nassarius snails took a liking to it, so i smacked them around a bit, then put them in my sump-jail for being bad! there they will stay until they learn how to play nicely or adapt their feeding habits to something ELSE! the clam is doing ok i guess; all the "lips" (U-sections) are opening up except the one the snails seemed to pick on...hopefully it will recover; it seems though it will now..
