New Crocea-New Lights burning?

Set up is this, 58 Gal. Oceanic (36 in wide) w/ 2 175 MH 12k Coralvues and 2 90 W actinics. Problem is I just bought a Crocea the day after my new bulbs arrived and it appears that the clam is "burning"!!! The mantle is dulling in color a bit on the higher portions, bulbs are approx 24 in from clam. I am only running the bulbs 4 hrs a day, should I move them up?...gonna have to try and figure out how to do that hmmmm....the xenia is shrinking back but the shrooms and leather at the bottom are looking fine, but the elegance is closed up a bit more. Should I maybe just use the one bulb for now If I can't lift the hood higher? Thanks in advance. Roy

the clam is darkening because it needs more light. 24" away from 175w is IMO not enough light for your clam.

Have to agree...he's not getting enough light, and 4 hours isn't helping much either likely.
