new crocea under attack???

i just got a baby crocea and one of my skunk shrimp is trying desperately to pick at it. is that normal at first. should i kill him? lol
i am worried that it will damage some of the mantle on it. do skunks eat clams? thanks for any input.

skunks have been known to pester clams. isolate the crocea from its environment using a strawberry basket or a bottle with holes in it, otherwise your clam will be killed even and have no chance to acclimate.

I had a skunk cleaner attack a clam in my 20gal I had to catch the little bugger and the clam survived. He was relentless about trying to pick at the clam. Good luck if you try to catch it.

i will do the strawberry basket. i tell you i want to kill my skunks. they have been so good up until today. if i have to choose then i choose shrimp on the grill with some lemon juice. yummy

make sure the basket is large enough. remember skunks have long legs

i will try to find something clear later on but for now good suggestion i will get the big one of strawberries and cur to fit. that was an amazing movie ezcompany. i have the tin can set.
