New cucumber

I added a cucumber last night and havent seen him since. Are they known to hide under rocks and sand?

Yup, most cukes are nocturnal

Cukes are either filter feeders or sand sifters for the most part. If you have filters they usually hang out at the top of the tank waving around tryign to catch food particles. The latter, burrow.

Mine would come out of hiding about an hour after the lights went out. Check for it then.
