new current usa bulbs look funny???

I just got my 250w 14k current usa bulbs in from an online store and to be honest the bulbs look like they might be used?
now i am not sure if this is normal or not for current usa bulbs so i figured i would ask.
does anyone that has ordered current usa bulbs...do your bulbs look like this.

The funny thing is my old 10k bulbs that came with my fixture dont look this bad on the metal ends, they were 14 months old and look almost new on the metal ends and the new ones just dont look rite?
I did find out current usa does burn in each bulb for 10 hours but does this look like that?

here a couple pics of the new ones that came in the past week.
you will see the ends look dark and dimpled and the middle of the bulb has a charcoal dust look to it.

What online store??? Those don't look new to me.

packaging was just a normal current usa box.
if i post the online store they will probably lock the thread.
