I picked this up a few weeks ago . Its just about done eating a piece
of krill in this photo. You can see a little of it still sticking out of its
mouth. It has started to get a bump on its side, is this a sign of a
new head forming ?

Is the dendro a difficult coral to have? It is such a beautiful coral and I would hate to purchase one too soon

thats a little pricey...I got a 3 head for 55.....I guess if you dont have options....if its worht it 2 u then do it.

my just get what the flow takes them from feeding my fish...usually mysis...I dont spot feed but then again I have had no new heads as others who spot feed 3 to 4 times a week have.

How difficult are they to frag. I was thinking about getting one, but my "cave" under the ledge is only large enough to accomodate a baseball sized coral.

that's not a bad deal at 199...we all had to pay 45head at the lfs here even for the baby heads. They are very easy to keep and mine likes mysis when I spot feed but also likes the spray-dried phyto that I feed too...as far as where to place it....the one that I have likes strong flow and lots of light

I bought mine for a 12 pack of coors light. about 13$. find a local. who will part out a frag. I average a new head a month.
