HEy guys i was given an eel today ...its a snowflake eel about 2-3 inches and im just wondering wuts proper care and food i should feed it new to keeping eels

2-3 inches, that's a tiny eel! Is he in a goldfish bowl, lol. I would say small pieces of fresh seafood, uncooked and frozen then thawed to prevent parasitic infection.

Wow! That's really small for a snowflake eel. It will need some live rock or other places to hide. Make sure there aren't any tank mates that can eat it. You might try frozen mysid shrimp, or finely chopped pieces of shrimp.

if you have trouble getting it to eat frozen, get the smallest live ghost shrimp you can find, and slowly acclimate them to salt water, so they last longer in case the eel is hesitant to eat. you can also try frozen mysis shrimp. if you use a bamboo skewer and are careful, you may even be able to put a large mysis shrimp on the end to target feed. :)
