New Elegance

Got an aussie elegance coming from Divers Den. I always dip any coral I get for like 10 minutes or so. Not sure if you should or can dip an elegance. I do not want to introduce anything into my tank since it is thriving. Any advice?

Never had an elegance, but I always dip new corals. You never know what might be on them.

Elegance are not the hardiest of corals though that is why I was hoping someone with some experience could tell me whats safe on them. Thanks for looking though

I have had the elegance in my ank for nearly 2 years. I found it to be very hardy. It seems to thrive best in the lower portions of the tank with less flow. I did not dip mine, just floated it for a half hour to let the temp adjust. It started to look ****ed for a while, then I decided to star feeding it raw shrimp. just tiny little chuncks places around the mouths and it perked right back up. Its not part of the routine.

I would definitely do a light dip just in case for any type of flat worms.
