New euphilla hammer has unidentified tag along ** help

Even ing folks!
Just picked up this new coral at our recently opened LFS and because I'm a sucker about walking in to any place without buying something. I came home with a new hammer. While examining I See there is a hole in what appears to be a home with something. It was there looked again the was empty so please take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think your help is appreciated.

I'm not seeing any pictures.

The hole that your talking about though could be a barnacle. (harmless) These are pretty common with corals like this.

I seem to be technically challenged today that I can't figure out why the pic uploads are failing. thought it was the android - switched to the pc and still no luck... Am I just not holding my mouth right? They are .jpeg files.

If it's a barnacle it's no biggie.

Thanks for the link to the hitchhikers... it hasn't extended past the point in the pic to see it is the barnacle and the "cave" beneath the hole appears to be oval.

I just googled for more images of the barnacle and mystery solved - Thank you much folks. Now I can rest and enjoy my new addition.
