Really excited about this . After long wait for years I found one extra extra small red carpet . I have kept many in past and use to have one of the biggest around 26" and now I guess I have the smallest .. any ways here he is 4" roughly very sticky and healthy and been in my tank for 7 days . Made him a small nest until it get moves to a one his own species tank .. current system has a thin layer of sand with different strains of bta .

They dont have to grow big.. I've kept my red one from my avatar for 5 years. Got him when he was about 5-6" and now he's about 8".

I feed him once a year :)

About 2 weeks in my tank ... getting prettier and looking healthy

I think you're thinking of a red mini-maxi that's sometimes referred to as a "Bali red mini-maxi carpet anemone" that some vendors used try to pass off as "baby haddoni." The bright green center is typically the giveaway.
