New fish dying, flukes

Our new little firefish has flukes, it has been treated with prazipro, about 22 hours ago, but fish is getting worse, looks like he might be bleeding out. Breathing is getting heavier and heavier and he is now sitting on the bottom and just started to lean abit :-( Is there anything we can do or is he going to die?
He was eating a bit this morning, but nothing now.

I've heard freshwater dips can help alleviate the symptoms of flukes... I do not have experience with this though, so take caution with the information. Its important to match temperature and ph when doing so, and probably a lot of other things... quick search here should give you a lot of info on it. I'd also look at what broad spectrum antibiotics are safe for use with prazi, because secondary infections are likely..

As MrTuskfish asks, why do you think it is flukes? Given that it is a "new" fish, please explain the exact acclimation (and quarantine if any) process used. I specifically am interested in the SG of the shipping water, the SG of the tank water, how measured and with what.
