New Fish for My 29 Gallon

I finally got those pesky damsels out of my tank. I'm looking for a new inhabitant to go with what I have currently.

So far I have:

1 Sixline Wrasse

1 Yellow Watchman Goby

1 Candycane Pistol Shrimp

1 Skunk Cleaner

Assorted CUC made up of astrea, cerith, nassarius, and turbo snails w/ a handful of scarlet and blue leg hermit crabs.

I really like the look of a flame angel and was wondering if he would make a good tank mate for the others. I realize the risk involved of keeping the angel with coral, I was more or less wondering how he would do with the other inhabitants.

If anyone has a personal preference instead of the Flame Angel toss out some ideas for me. I want an active fish w/ some personality and good coloring.

I have no coral right now but am probably going to house mushrooms and softies only.

I would get a Tailspot Blennie...great personality (or so I'm told) and they look like they're wearing blue lipstick as they have bright blue coloration around their mouths. I have a Purple Firefish which is cool looking. An ocellaris clown (Nemo) is a very nice little fish too.

Love my purple firefish, what about a black & white clown? I really love the contrast of them against corals.

My tank has black sand substrate so a more typically colored orange clown might do the trick for me.

Firefish always intrigued me. But once my tank runs open top I'm afraid of him jumping out. Although I don't plan on keeping anything that would spook him to jump in the first place :p

I think the Flame Angel would be a fine addtion to your tank. I've had one for several years and it doesn't seem to bother anything else in the tank.

My tank is topless and (knock on wood) my Firefish hasn't jumped yet. An ocellaris clown against a black substrate would look great!

Kid, I hate to be critical but is there no way you can put some eggcrate or a glass canopy on your tank? It may be a week or a year from now, but eventually you are very likely to lose a fish.

Why tempt fate?
