New fish ?'s

I've recently got a Huma Huma Trigger, 3 spot fin lionfish, a spiny boxfish and a yellow tang. When I feed ghost shrimp the boxfish isn't fast enough to catch the shrimp but will eat a little once they die. Is there anything better for him ie. silversides etc.

The huma eats plenty, but picks on the rocks all day. Is he eating off the rocks or just picking

My last question is how often should I feed ghost shrimp to the lions?

LOL yup 18....It was called the sea of death

Sea of lionfish death is more like it. A 300 gallon is NOT big enough for 18 lion fish.

Pfft they're only poisonous on the tops and bottom fins.

You're feeding live but is there a way to distract the others with the live food while getting some mysis soaked in garlic to the way of the boxfish?

Boxfish even when hand fed may struggle to compete with the other fish because they are not voracious eaters, they would prefer to graze on the things they eat. Unless you have a long time to stand and wait while hand feeding you will likely have trouble. Very frequently they become very stressed out in a predatory tank. Boxfish, pipefish and seahorses are very slow to fetch food and do better in a tank with fish with similar eating habits.
