Well, crap! :mad2: I came home from work today and the first thing I noticed is that the potter's wrasse is not out and about. Last night it dove into the sand about 1-2 hours earlier than normal so I thought maybe it did the same tonight. I did a quick check to see if I could find it but didn't see anything. About a half hour later I was looking around again and there it was laying on top of the sand where it normally sleeps, dead. I'm really at a loss as to what the issue was, the fish has been eating well since the day I got it and the past few days it seemed like it was getting more comfortable in the tank and wasn't as easily spooked by the other fish as it had been for the first week. The only thing I can think of is that I dosed prazipro proactively for intestinal worms. I've heard that if a fish is heavily infested that the sudden death of the worms can lead to complications killing the fish but I'm not sure if that's hearsay or not. It seems like the only reasonable explanation though.
