Yup. I was wrong. I'm so jaded. I even did a reverse image search cause I've (no joke) seen people pull pics of big tanks offa Google and say it was theirs when they were asking about bigger tangs and such.
Anyway, now I'm really psyched about bogue's tank and wanna help him make it everything his family wants it to be

There is no way in the world I can empty that tank, It has about a ton of rock in it plus all the water, no way to catch the fish. I just re-started it about 3or 4 months ago and it is way too much work for one person.

Even if you have sick fish, say with ICH, they can live long and happy lives if you keep them well fed in a tank with good water parameters.

Also the size of your tank should really help keep stress low.

When you add new fish, you should quarantine though. Just takes one fish with something really nasty to take the tank down pretty much overnight.

One can always use fish traps to remove the fish. Either way, hopefully you get lucky and avoid any parasites or pathogens. This is all the more reason to QT all livestock going in from this point on. You've got a lot more to lose than those who have nano tanks.

I'm gonna add another vote for QT. Although it should be done on any size tank, if you had an ich outbreak that heavy feeding didn't sway, holy crap trying to catch all the fish in that tank.

That is a good idea but being fish are already inside the tank and not QTed its kinda like beating a :deadhorse1:

Of course if all the fish by chance are healthy, then your good to go but there really is no telling unless they show signs of a certain disease down the road. I am certainly hoping that they are healthy and that your beast tank will thrive and we will be able to see pics of this tank..

The best QT is one that keeps out all diseases 100%
A lot of people think that's unrealistic, especially when it comes to ich, and deal with it by keeping the fish healthy enough to fight it off on their own. Im nowhere near experienced enough to tell anybody else what to do when it comes to this stuff, but if I was in your shoes I probably wouldn't reset the tank either. It sounds like you understand the risk you're taking

It looks like my fish are all healthy and thriving. I guess there is no real guarantee on anything but I am going slow and watching everything closely. When I had it going strong back in the ninety's I had several corals and several fish, but never had a problem other than some algae outbreak. Thanks for all the concerns...I appreciate everyone's input.
