Guys I’ve bought a clown tang and foxface today, my powder blue is kicking shit out them so I sumped him , how long should he be isolated?

Clown tang will be nasty and huge. I have been told that as it get older it needs more room and will attack and kill tank mates, even the ones that have been in the tank for a long time. Beautiful but a fish that should not be keep in aquarium. How big is your tank? PBT needs a large tank also, likely >180 as it gets older.

It is hard to add a tang to a tank with a established tang.

A clown tang can get huge, I would return him. I have seen them well over 12 inches long.

It all depends on how well you take care of them. my PBT go from 3 to 6+ inches in less than 1 year. I only have second hand information for the Clown Tangs, do not think the HA associated with this beautiful fish is what I want, so if you want to keep him, good luck.

No, just a 320 gal tank and as much food and he care to eat. Good water condition with good maintenance.
