hi i recently bought an aquatech 5 which is similiar to an eclipse, and i have cycled it nad added live rock from existing tank and also live sand, and usesd all r/o water, and currently have my tiny mantis shrimp in it. The tank only comes with an 8 watt (i think) t-5 light, and i want more light. I have a spare 32 wat compact setup that i want to retrofit into it but i am not sure how to go about it. also does anyone know of any usefull mods that i cold do to it? The tank has a couple of small coral frags and i wanted to grow different kinds of macro algae in it. any help would be appreciated. Thanks. heres a few pics:

The aquatech 5 is an eclipse 6 with a shorter tank making it 5 gallons instead of 6. Everything else is the same.

I have a mini-reef in an eclipse 3. Chopped a hole in the back of the hood to fit a penguin mini. Removed the original filter unit. Placed a small 13w(x2) PC fixture where the door is and kept the original T5 in the hood. I have an IceProbe stuck in the penguin to keep the heat down. This seems to be working great so far.

If I can remember, I'll try to take pics.
I only did one real mod which was cutting the hood to fit the penguin. Its nothing fancy or elaborate but I know pics are always nice to check out for ideas and inspiration.
