New flame angel !

Hi ,,

Yesterday i bring my first flam angel i tring to feed the flam some flake but its dont eat just nipping on the live rock tring to fined pods , how can i let my flame angel to eat flaks ?

Just give him some time, it can take him awhile to figure things out. If you have some nuisance hair algae he can graze on, all the better. Which is why mature tanks are better for Centropyge angels.
Also, try some Nori in a couple of days..

try feeding some frozen. Id feel bad giving an angel flake...

my flame doesn't seem to have any interest in frozen foods. i give it flakes and pellets. doesn't seem to have any interest in the algae sheets i put in there either. might warm up to them eventually though, it's only been 2 weeks.

We bought our Flame from another reefer that only fed him flakes and brine shrimp. Once in our tank he would not eat either for about two weeks. But now he eats flakes and frozen better then any of our other fish. Just give him some time. He will get hungry enough.

There is good news,,,, today my flame angel start to eat frozen food and flakes ,,,,, im very happey ,,,,,,,,,,,
