New frag, Frogspawn?

As the title states, this was in a frag tank and had a price of $15 so I figured why not! I think it's a frogspawn, but I'm not 100% sure. It could be a torch for all i know lol.

I'll let the experts decide! Comment below please.

I placed it middle-lower in the tank, in an area where the tentacles move but are not thrashed. I put it in the tank lights off last night, and it started opening up within 30 minutes. I'm assuming it likes the location, it has stayed fully open since being put in. Running a biocube 29 with stock lighting (brand new bulbs).

I think it is FrogSpawn, but Usually frogspawn has more bumps per tentacle. I don't think it's a Torch though.

It's not a frogspawn. I've got two hammers that have odd shaped tentacles like that so that would be my best guess since it's so similar. Not sure what causes it, kind of like bubble tip anemones not bubbling and others do.

It's also not a torch as they have thinner tentacles although I do have an Aussie torch that are fairly thick but they look different.

SO I'm going with Hammer.

Ok so the people have spoken, it's probably a hammer.

This would be my first, I'd love to hear any tips in keeping this healthy and hopefully it'll grow bigger!

As i previously stated, I'm running a biocube 29 with stock lighting. I currently have the stock return pump, and a hydor 425 for circulation. I do a 5 gallon water change every week with IO Reef crystals. My tank is new at 2 months old.

The coral is on day 3, still looking good, opens fully when the lights come on, gets a little smaller at night.

I only have a basic test kit at the moment, Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate.

If you're going to keep stony corals, I strongly recommend test kits for alkalinity, calcium and magnesium.

Reef Bass, I have an acan that looks exactly like your avatar! I just got it this past weekend at a swap meet in Omaha. It's the first truly green acan I've seen and had to have it. :dance:
