New GBTA and a few questions??

i finally bought a new BTA and the one i bought had its foot covered in shells. so there was no foot visable from the bottom. will it let go of the shells and such or should i pull them off gently? it has been in the tank for a few hours and still has not even remotely attached.

another thing is the tips are so bubbled/expanded that the GBTA keeps bouncing around  i cant get it to stay still if anything moves in the tank next to it. the tips are also so inflated that they stick out further then its foot does?? when will the tips deflat enough to were it will be able to attach??? is all of this normal? all the other anemones i have ever owned started to attach in a matter of hours and did not have bubbles that were so inflated like this one.

here are a few pictures of it. first is in the bag floating and the others were i sat it hoping thats were it will stay

The filter in the background with eat the nem. Zip tie some foam over it. Trust me I speak from experence. Also the nem may not settle in a spot for a week or more just try to keep it safe and let it find it own home.

How is it doing now?

+ i tried to place my nem where i wanted it..didnt work lol
lemme tell ya these things can move!
might not be able to beat a snail but they'll get to where they're happy.

last night the thing kept falling cus it wouldnt attach at all so i had to place it on the sand between to rocks and of course thats were it ended up attaching last night. but as soon as the lights come on i doubt it will stay there. it decided to attach itself in a pretty crappy spot for sure.

the overflow in the background will not be a problem for the nem. this is a 24g aquapod and i have all the bottom intakes blocked off. i too had a anemone get sucked up into a filter.... or should i say a power head in the past. it was my first nem and i had no clue back then. this tank is setup pretty anemone safe.
