New GBTA looking rough

I picked up this guy on Saturday. It was looking good the rest of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning. Monday afternoon it looked deflated a bit so I did a small water change. Yesterday and today it's about the same. Should I QT it? I really don't have a dedicated QT setup but I have a 10g, filter and heater to set one up, no real light just an old t5 with old bulbs. I would have to grab meds tomorrow. It does look to be expelling something. I haven't fed it since purchasing it. I've got it in a fish QT box, is it possible it's not getting enough flow?

Yea it looks kinda rough. What are your water parameters, and how long has your tank been setup?

What kind of light do you have? Maybe it doesn't like the light. Mine was like this under LED until I put my beat up T5 fixture on. It's super happy under T5.

It seems like it goes in cycles with looking bad then better.

Parameters are all good, measured before and after the water change, nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia 0, alk was 7, ca at 400, mg around 1300. pH is right around 8.1. Running a pair of AI sol blue and a pair of 54w blue+. Tank is about 2 years old now. I have a RBTA that I've had for about 3mo that is doing great, well it's recovering nicely after getting caught in my mp40.

It looks like there's a little bit of tissue right around the mouth I guess I should go ahead and medicate? Is it a goner?

Ya I would. Your water parameters are good and your lights are good. Do you have Cipro?

I ended up finding some Cipro yesterday, setup my QT and medicated. It was looking real bad last night when I got home. This morning it's looking 100 times better. It's inflated larger than I've seen it before. I'm a little nervous because I'll be traveling next week so I'll do a waterchange and dose Monday morning but I won't be home until Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully it will be looking loads better by then.

Give your anemone some time. They take a little bit to fully acclimate to a tank regardless of you're parameters! Patience is key.
