New GBTA

I finally reached the point with my new tank (7months old) that allows me to add a GBTA, my LFS had some for 20 bucks and there were many to choose from. I did a ton of reading here and on the net about how to acclimate and care for them and felt I was ready.

At the moment it hides during the day and comes out at night but does not travel around, I'm guessing it is comfortable where it is for now but does not like the intense lighting of my T5's just yet. As of today I am going to begin just running the Dawn Dusk lights to see if I can get it to stay out all day then slowly add the rest of the light back on over the course of the next few days.

My clowns could care less about it but then again they love each other more than anything else in the tank anyways.

Here are some pics of my little GBTA.

This was right after I put him from acclimation box into the tank.

Here is where it settled in after the first couple hours.

And this is where it is now.

Very nice! I'm really looking forward to getting a BTA for my clowns once my tank is ready. Yours may very well take to the anemone one of these days...someone who started a thread on here recently has a pair of ocellaris that took two whole years to start being hosted! :D

The first couple of weeks will be trial and error with the nem. It will find a spot it likes and essentially stay their once it's comfortable. As long as your water params stay stable they are pretty easy to care for.
